Orbital ATK is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst
Role Description &
Responsibilities:
As a Financial Analyst for our Small Cal Systems group you will be responsible for supporting our programs and plant. This position will work very closely with program management, operational leaders, and internal and external customers.
You will work with the Finance team as well as other departments on the following:
Prepare and analyze financial reports and communicate recommendations to management
Develop, maintain, and establish financial information systems considering such things as labor tracking, material consumption, and total cost on operation floor
Establish budget and track project cost performance to planned budgets
Experience Requirements:
Candidate must have 5
years of experience in finance or accounting
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor s degree in Finance or Accounting required
Skills &
Qualifications:
Coordinate quarterly EAC (Estimate at Complete) process
Cost control and financial support for program management
Planning and forecasting of monthly financial metrics
Communication of program performance to management
Ability to track and manage program billings and cash collections
Proficiency in Excel, and other Microsoft office software
Preferred skills:
Defense Contracting finance experience
Experience in program/cost accounting, and contracts
Cost Point knowledge
