12-month contract possibility of extension. (must be a USC/Green Card Holder/NO C2C) Overview/Responsibilities - Performs a variety of human resources (HR) support responsibilities relating to the implementation and administration of Independence HR policies, procedure, and programs. - Serves as an advocate for the employee, management, and the Plant. - Provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry. - Role expectations include New Hire Orientation ownership, execution, and stakeholder management, Payroll process SME, liaison for coordinating external/internal Unilever-Independence functions, blue-collar recruiting support, blue-collar attendance and performance reporting, HR systems management SME (as specified), engagement team co-lead, and key executor of targeted engagement activities. What We're Looking For - Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field and/or equivalent experience. - Minimum of 1-2 years' related experience. - Experience in FMCG/CPG (nice to have). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures. - Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. - Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
