Schedule:

Residency:
Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine.
Any physician falling under the grandfather clause declaring physicians board eligible if they completed 8,000 hours of clinical practice in emergency departments by 1988, will NOT qualify.
Board Certification:
Board certified or board eligible (with achievement of certification within 3 years) leading to certification in EM by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).
ABPS Board Certification will NOT be accepted.
Life Certifications:
NIHSS required for allACLS, ATLS, PALS and BLS required for any EM Board Eligible physician.
