Pre-Service RepresentativeGENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Pre-Service Representatives perform general business office functions that may include some or all of the following:
Insurance verification and eligibility Insurance pre-authorization/pre-certifications Counseling patients and families on insurance and payment issues prior to surgery Ensures all insurance, demographic, and eligibility information is obtained from patients and entered into the billing system in an accurate and timely manner Confirms and revises all patient payer information Accurately documents all necessary data points for personal injury cases REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED required.
College degree a plus.
Two years minimum front office experience in a medical environment.
ExperiencePreferred2 year(s):
Two years office experience (preferably in a medical office or law firm)EducationPreferredHigh School or betterBehaviorsPreferred Team Player:
