8 Quick Apply Full-time 5 hours ago Full Job Description Coordinate the day-to-day activities of a team of warehouse associates in a non-union environment who receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in the distribution warehouse.
Ensure that there is sufficient inventory to meet the organization's needs by ordering boxes and pallets; and managing out-of-stock over-stocked products.
Enter data into a computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieve stored information; or respond to enquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules.
) Monitor warehouse activities to ensure that goods are stored correctly, safely and ensure warehouse space is utilized effectively and efficiently.
Monitor the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and protection of equipment and make recommendations for improvements.
Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure the team's resources are used effectively, and work schedules and targets are met.
Lead Warehouse staff to ensure that all warehouse activities, and all machines and equipment are operated, safely.
Train new workers in the organization's operating procedures and standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Education High School Diploma.
Associates Degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience Warehouse, distribution and computer related work and/or experience in a lead capacity Job Type:
