Burd & Fletcher is now hiring for 1st shift (Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm) & 2nd shift (Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm) entry level plant positions in our Separating Department, scheduled for 40-hour work week, union job, may require mandatory overtime.

This is a manual labor job.
Separator - Essential Function:
(1st & 2nd shift only) Constantly meet daily call-outs and ensure there are no mixed items of any kind, by placing stack cartons product on a pallet/skid throughout an 8-hour day.
An air hammer will be used to separate loads with an average weight of 15 lbs.
Continuous lifting of 5-30 lbs.
Associates will separate, carry and pack carton product on to a skid/pallet (size of the stacks varies depending on the job).
Must be able to lift (up to 30 lbs.
), push/pull, grip, reach, bend/crouch, stand & walk on concrete, rotate, & have hand coordination.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old & submit to a background check.
Must also have reliable transportation & a good work ethic.
Pay starts at $18.
79, raise at 30 days to $19.
